Answer: 72

ii. (-25) × 6

(-25) × 6 = -150
Answer: -150

iii. (-30) × 7

(-30) × 7 = -210
Answer: -210

iv. 8 × (-15)

8 × (-15) = -120
Answer: -120

v. 20 × (-10)

20 × (-10) = -200
Answer: -200

vi. (-12) × (-15)

(-12) × (-15) = 180
Answer: 180

vii. (-8) × (-13)

(-8) × (-13) = 104
Answer: 104

viii. (-20) × (-1)

(-20) × (-1) = 20
Answer: 20

ix. (-9) × 0

Any number multiplied by 0 is 0
(-9) × 0 = 0
Answer: 0

x. 0 × (-11)

0 × (-11) = 0
Answer: 0

Q2: Find the product:

i. {(-9) × 8} × (-5)

Step 1: (-9) × 8 = -72
Step 2: -72 × (-5) = 360
Answer: 360

ii. {(-10) × (-5)} × 6

Step 1: (-10) × (-5) = 50
Step 2: 50 × 6 = 300
Answer: 300

iii. {(-12) × (-15)} × (-2)

Step 1: (-12) × (-15) = 180
Step 2: 180 × (-2) = -360
Answer: -360

iv. (-8) × {(-5) × (-3)}

Step 1: (-5) × (-3) = 15
Step 2: (-8) × 15 = -120
Answer: -120

v. (-11) × {(-8) × 5}

Step 1: (-8) × 5 = -40
Step 2: (-11) × (-40) = 440
Answer: 440

Q3: Verify the following:

i. (-14)×(-8) = (-8)×(-14)

LHS = (-14)×(-8) = 112
RHS = (-8)×(-14) = 112
Since LHS = RHS, Hence Verified.

ii. {(-7)×5}×(-6) = (-7)×{5×(-6)}

LHS = (-7×5)×(-6) = (-35)×(-6) = 210
RHS = (-7)×(5×-6) = (-7)×(-30) = 210
Since LHS = RHS, Hence Verified.

iii. (-10)×{(-7)+(-9)} = {(-10)×(-7)} + {(-10)×(-9)}

LHS = (-10)×(-7 + -9) = (-10)×(-16) = 160
RHS = (-10×-7) + (-10×-9) = 70 + 90 = 160
Since LHS = RHS, Hence Verified.

Q4: Find the quotient:

i. 28 ÷ (-7)

Answer: -4

ii. (-65) ÷ 13

Answer: -5

iii. (-66) ÷ (-6)

Answer: 11

iv. (-9) ÷ (-1)

Answer: 9

v. 0 ÷ (-2)

Answer: 0

vi. (-12) ÷ (-12)

Answer: 1

Q5: Write all even integers between

i. (-4) and 11

Answer: -2, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10

ii. (-13) and (-7)

Answer: -12, -10, -8

Q6: Write all odd integers between

i. (-1) and 7

Answer: 1, 3, 5
